#34. The little kite that could
Festival of the Winds at Bondi today (peaceful way to mark the 15th anniversary of 9/11). Our little pirate kite was mixing it with the best. And the big kites were like Sydney's version of Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

#33. happy birthday Mum
we had a nice celebration of Jean's birthday at Bondi today. It was nice to be able to celebrate it in person for the first time in almost a decade, last time being 2007.

#31.Catching up with JWH
It looks like we were having a coffee, but I bumped into the Rorters in the Qantas Club yesterday - I was on my way to Melbourne for a meeting, and they were on their way to Brisbane for tonight's game vs. the Broncos. Jared very kindly gave me his autograph for Maxi and even took the selfie himself. Seems like a very nice, humble guy. we chatted for a few minutes then my flight was called. can't say i wished them good luck, but I hope he scores a try or something.
